My shower head exploded, drenching my apartment’s bathroom in water, almost destroying my laptop. Got all of that taken car off, but the good news is I finished my first draft of a piece for Road and Track. Combine that with 944 issues, and even more writing, and it’s been one hell of a Labor day. How was your day? Do anything fun?

I have a rental house with three 50’+ pin oak trees that were hanging over the street, driveway, & house. I rented a lift & cut a bunch of branches & chipped Al the leaves & twigs. It's been a long weekend.

There was someone who kept making noises. I could hear water and splashing. At first I thought someone was drowning another in a tub, but then it would’ve sounded more violent. Also heard this old car that kept making LOUD NOISES which I cannot into standings. To top it off, my ceiling started to leak. My labor day sucked.

Went to a job interview, then came home and swam, while staring into the garage sulking about not being able to drive my 4Runner, because I have the soft precision of Jeremy Clarkson when mending things.

Why was your laptop in the bathroom? Wait, don’t answer that.

When a friend drives a classic french car.. and it breaks down 2 blocks away, I get the call just before I go to sleep after a 6 hour drive. this is how it started. at 12 AM.

I saw - and parked next to! - my first Isuzu VehiCross. My curiosity is now sated.
I kind of wasted the day otherwise. I should have worked on refinishing my bedroom floor but I'm so tired of house projects.

Due to the 12 hour difference, Sunday and Monday where you are is Monday and Tuesday where I am.
On Monday morning, I found a large pile of human feces in one of the college hostel shower enclosures. This morning, I was stuck in the hostel due to the intensity of the rain making it impossible to leave. A truly wonderful beginning of the week.

Played the new Metal Gear solid 5 until about 4 am. Woke up around 11 am. Played more Metal Gear Solid 5 until 4 pm. Went into work at 5 pm for that sweet holiday double-time and was here when the day ended.
Pretty damn good day.

I am with you on this one! Friggin house...
So I hand polished the paint on my car. Told the wife it was oxidizing, or something like that, and had to be done NOW!

It’s an amazing departure from the regular MGS formula. My last experience was with MGS 4, and the insanely long cutscenes really turned me off. With that in mind, I had no interest in MGS 5 until more information started coming out. The open-world and insane replayability are amazing. Highly recommended.
